I shouldn’t say this but the last three weeks I’ve gone 1/1 on each. That's how it has normally gone for me I ran one last night 4 times and 3 out of the 4 I hot exotics. Every day someone complains about lost sector drop rates and every day we tell you it's RNG. STOP. This is exactly why I don't ever run those things.

I've been running legendary lost sectors in order to get some exotics in my collection and noticed that almost nothing will drop. I read somewhere that legendary chances are ~25% and master are ~35%. I've done the lost sector 18 times and only gotten 2 exotics. Can anyone validate these numbers or give any other information? Thanks.

It took me 17 on my warlock to get necrotic grip but I got icefall mantle on my 4th run as Titan. It's just RNG and Legend Lost Sectors do not have a good drop rate. I got the boots and mantle on my first try on legend.Somewhere between 20-27%. RNG means you could get 5 exotics in a row or run 30+ without one, and on an infinite timescale it all evens out. Legend Lost Sectors were 25%, they've now increased to I believe around.. 30-33%? (Could be incorrect, most people seem to have agreed upon that answer though.) Unsure about the Master Lost Sector drop rates because they're just shown to be a 'Common' drop, yet don't feel like that at all.

My experience running legend Lost Sectors lately. Few days ago Chamber of Starlight was the daily lost sector and it dropped head exotics. I ran through it for 240 times, spending like 1:05-1:20 per run and a bit less then a minute to load in and out, so like 2 minutes per run including loading time. I got my first exotic from a lost sector. Nah, it's RNG based, but only if you get Platinum I believe. Score, no. Well not exactly. If you don't kill all champions and get a "platinum" score you absolutely won't get an exotic. If you do get "platinum" it's a 25% or 33% drop rate for legend or master respectively.

Assuming the drop rates for all lost sector are the same and only time is an issue: (OP) MLS 15 runs / 0 exotics (Source posted) MLS 24 runs / 8 exotics Unless RNG can bless OP with more or equal to the amount of exotics as in the source, no reason to run MLS unless its a very easy lost sector.
